Canadians buy Cannondale

The writing was on the wall and it was only a matter of time…
A Canadian firm, Dorel, the parent company of Pacific Cycles (think Schwinn, Mongoose and GT) just purchased Cannondale. No word yet as to how this will affect current dealers; however, the Pacific acquisitions of Schwinn and GT caused major changes in the dealer market a few years back. With any luck the won’t resort to container shipping requirements.
