No more for the rest of my (US) program. Yeah !!!!

Today was a long day. I was up early and would be working relatively late. Later than a normal day that is. I was eating breakfast at about 6:00 am so I could get the bikes ready to ride to the stage and then drive to the TT early to get a good parking spot and get set up. When the riders get there, they could be ready to get onto the wind trainers straight away without any delay. I thought I was going to be there early. Little did I know that I was not the first. I got back from breakfast to see the parking spot where the Saturn truck and the Mercury trucks were parked to be empty. They had left even earlier than I did. Wow they had to be up early. I got to the TT almost two hours before the start of our first rider (and first rider period). The TT went fairly well.
Back to the hotel for an hour and a half or so. Powered down a Sandwich and straight to the bikes for the afternoon criterium. The criterium was 50 miles and a 3:30 PM start meant at least a 5:00 PM or so finish time. With podium for Levi and packing the van, we did not get back to the hotel till a little after 6:00 PM. I think I almost set a record for washing the bikes (with Eric washing them mainly). 8:00 PM and I was in the shower. A fast post race bike wash and check over made it possible to get to dinner at a decent time. That was a 14 hour plus day in the office. Ouch!
Bonus for me is the fact that today’s Time trial (should be) the last time trial I’ll do for the rest of the year. In the US at least. No more for the rest of my (US) program.
