Can someone please close the door?

All of last week, the weather here in Austin was nice. So I was told because some of our office staff who live her told us it was going to get cold the next few days. Aparently last week was short sleve/shorts weather reported in the 70s. I’ll take that in a heart beat. The first part of this week is to be in the 40s. Wow what a change. Today we were scheduled to do a 4 hour plus ride. Well, it was so cold they scheduled a shorter ride. We would go out and “see how it goes” and re-evaluate it as we go along. Well it never got warmer and it was actually much less than 40F. And it started to rain lightly. So the 4 hour ride was cut to just over two hours and the riders came back to the hotel and had some free time to relax. Damm it is cold. Can someone please close the door?
Something did not agree with me and just as we sat down to dinner, I felt ill. With a short walk back to the hotel I went straight to bed. After “praying to the porcelan alter” as my friend would say. I went to bed about 8:30 and would eventually end up sleeping to 8:30 the next morning.
